LUMBERTON — A beautiful day treated the Annual Outdoor Career and Resource Fair at Robeson Community College. College officials estimated that close to 1,000 people came out to enjoy the fair this year, which featured more than 70 employers looking for new hires to fill open positions.

Children encouraged to know the vehicles of their community

ELIZABETHTOWN – Bladen Community College hosted their fourth-annual “Touch A Truck” which was a program that encouraged children from the community to know the vehicles that surround their everyday lives in Bladen County.

Sculpture unveiled at newly-named Elm Street Pocket Park

LUMBERTON — The City of Lumberton held a ceremony Tuesday to commemorate the naming of the Elm Street Pocket Park, a park that has been built in an alleyway on the 300 block of North Elm Street, and officially unveil a sculpture within the park which recognizes the Lumber River’s proximity and significance to downtown.
